My time in Curaçao was a truly special experience that I won’t forget any time soon. It felt very special to be able to teach in another country. Everything was different from what I was used to, but that’s exactly what made it so educational and interesting. I learnt lots of new things, both about teaching and about myself.

The people I lived with made the experience even better. It was always good fun and we laughed a lot together. That lovely atmosphere meant I soon felt at home, even though I was far from home.

Curaçao itself is a beautiful island. The nature, the beaches and the colours make it a truly unique place. What made it even better for me were the people. Everyone is friendly and open, which made me feel welcome from the very start.

The projects I worked on were not only fun, but also very educational. They gave me the chance to really contribute while developing new skills at the same time.

On top of that, there’s loads to do on the island. Whether you want to relax, discover something new or simply enjoy your surroundings, there’s always something going on.
