Melissa and I went to South Africa for 6 weeks, but because of the coronavirus we had to go home early. I was there for my internship abroad for my course, CIOS.
How satisfied were you with the support from Holland?
Very happy, because I was well prepared for everything. And if I had any questions, I could always ask Ruben.

The best time abroad of my life so far. Every Monday to Thursday we taught at four schools, and only on Fridays did we have three schools. Tuesday was always a fun day because of the karaoke and night out, and on Thursday there was the beer pong tournament and we went out.
My stay was so much fun partly because of the group that was there at the time. Because without them it would have been a lot less fun! And other than that, just good times and great adventures you can sign up for, at the weekends for example.
What advice would you like to give future interns and volunteers?
If you get the chance to have this adventure: ABSOLUTELY do it!
