I truly had the 5 best weeks ever in South Africa! All the people there were so lovely and fun too! From the other volunteers/interns to the children you teach, everyone was amazing. I really made new friends here and I’m very grateful for that. The mamas are so lovely too! Whether you just want a nice chat or really need to get something off your chest, it doesn’t matter, they’re always there for you.

The children you teach are so happy and grateful that you’re there and have so much enthusiasm during the lessons, and that’s wonderful to see! I enjoyed teaching every single day and would love to do it again!

Besides the teaching, which was really great fun, there were super fun excursions at the weekends that you really don’t want to miss!

Of course I also learnt a lot myself, and I’m now taking that with me into my life here in Holland!

All in all, I really loved it, learnt so much, made new friends and truly had the best time ever!!
